The Vonage V-Phone (also known as Vonage Talk) is a portable phone adapter, which includes a stereo headset/microphone combined with a USB memory stick. To use, plug this adapter into the USB port of a compatible Windows PC with a high-speed Internet connection and start making and receiving calls. The Vonage V-Phone software is self-contained on the portable adapter, so software is not installed on any computer you use.
You can use the Vonage V-Phone with your existing Vonage phone number or you can add this adapter as an additional line that has its own phone number. When you use an existing phone number, you must sign in to your Online Account to move the line from one adapter to the other.
Calls to 911 call from your Vonage V-Phone are routed to the National Emergency Call Center where a trained representative can assist you.
Stereo Headset / Microphone: Offers a 2.5 mm stereo headset with an integrated microphone and foam earpiece covers. The earphones cords are different lengths to ensure that the microphone is placed closest to your mouth while the long cord is comfortably draped behind your neck. If you would prefer to use a different headset, the Vonage V-Phone supports your favorite mono or stereo 2.5 mm headset. A 2.5 mm headset is a typical cell phone-type headset.
USB Flash Drive: Provides 250 MB of usable storage. The flash drive functions exactly like any other USB storage device. Windows recognizes the flash drive partition and assigns it the label , but you can rename. The storage drive window appears automatically and is immediately ready for use after the device is inserted. If you have close the window, go to your file structure and double-click to open.
